Thriller Week

Thriller Week

Jun 11, 2020Jose Noulez de Miguel

Busy, busy and busy again. I haven't stopped since my last blog. Apparently, a lot of books are suddenly available because people want to make room for other things at home. It is what it is, but for me these were heydays.

I have driven here and there to look at the books they have to offer. Some people have different criteria than I do when it comes to the quality of their books. Apparently my criteria for a "Like New" book is different than what some people consider a "Like New" book. But, no matter how far you have to drive to look at a lot, or what people's criteria are for their books, there is always something good in there.

A new hobby:

About 3 weeks ago I bought a mountain bike. I actually needed a new bike and I wanted a bike that was a bit more robust and that you could ride through the forest.

My purchase, a Merida, looks great! A clean veloke. Now a helmet, gloves, mountain bike shoes, cycling glasses and some clothing and I can start.

Man! This is fun! If I had known 20 years ago that mountain biking was so much fun, I would never have started running. Now I race through the woods, mud, over tree stumps, cobblestones and sand like a 19 year old foal.

I just wanted to get that off my chest. Back to business.

Pieter Aspe and other thrillers & suspense:

Earlier this week I was able to buy a lot of "as good as new" books. Mostly thrillers & suspense as well as some good novels. I was able to buy a large number of books by Pieter Aspe. Since yesterday they are all online, both at bol.com , booksinbelgium , bookstores and my own webshop, The King of Books.

And because the thriller week starts today until next Sunday, we are going to have a promotion here. It is enough that you click here and then you will automatically come to the page with all thrillers. You search for the book or books that you want to buy and you fill in the discount " Suspense " at the checkout. The discount of 10% will be automatically settled when you pay.
