Maikel travels with vampire hunter Victor and his daughter Joanna to Germany, hoping to leave the terrible events in Brussels behind them. However, they soon notice that they are being followed by bloodthirsty creatures. Someone or something is on their trail. Fortunately, they manage to arrive safely in Cologne, where Maikel stumbles upon information that could lead him to the origins of his dark family past, somewhere deep in Romania. Unfortunately, Victor has other priorities and finds it too dangerous to go there.
