In the name of the Father 365 fragments from speeches and homilies by Mgr. Luc Van Looy

Mgr. Luc Van Looy (1941) was ordained as the thirtieth bishop of Ghent on 1 February 2004. A bishop is a preacher. In this book, entitled his episcopal motto, 365 fragments have been collected from the countless homilies and speeches that Bishop Van Looy gave in recent years 'in the Name of the Father'. One for each day of the year. The reader discovers a pastoral and socially committed bishop who himself lives from the Eucharist and prayer. The book Netwerker van God voor de mensen (Halewijn, 2017) was previously published, in which Tertio editor-in-chief Emmanuël Van Lierde recorded conversations with the bishop of Ghent.
