Herman Vos: from Flemish nationalism to socialism

Herman Vos' life is full of apparent contradictions. Yet the biography shows that Vos always followed one general principle: already at the beginning of the 1920s he made a connection between social democracy and Flemish nationalism. His choice for the BWP in 1933 is therefore a logical step, when the majority of Flemish nationalists took a new path. Hermans is the ideal person to travel through a large chunk of national history.
