Box of Light Air and Love
In a dusty attic, the twins Yotta and Yocto find a mysterious box. It is the unfinished life's work of the twins' father. The box contains 91 tubes, a letter and a plane ticket. However, one tube is still missing from the collection. In the letter, the father asks the twins to complete his life's work. He is seriously ill and no longer able to go looking for it himself.
With the box, Yotta and Yocto travel around the world in search of the meaning of the box and the missing tube. They do not want to disappoint their sick father. They survive an Icelandic earthquake, they go in search of whales off the Canadian coast and brave the extreme cold on their way to the magnetic south pole. They talk to scientists (including at CERN), with strange travelers, with a charlatan, and they do experiments. Through trial and error they learn how science works and discover the meaning of the box. It seems to answer all their questions, but does that really happen? And will they unravel the mystery of the missing element?
