Philippine Patatas, Mysterious Disappearances, and a Smoking Garbage Mountain

Smokey Mountain in the Philippines is one of the largest garbage dumps in the world. Thousands of children live and work here on top of the smoking waste. They try to survive by searching, sorting and selling what the garbage trucks bring. Together with Sharilla and Jochem, Pieter campaigns for these children. During their school holidays, they get the chance to deliver the money from their campaign themselves. But when they cross paths with a crazy Filipino doctor on the way, things go wrong. Unintentionally, they become involved in the mysterious disappearance of children from Smokey Mountain. There is no choice: they have to fight an unpredictable enemy. It leads to an incredibly exciting adventure, in which falling in love, a ghost ship, a tennis ball cannon, a sleepwalker, poisonous puffer fish and a stolen kidney play an important role.
