A world earthquake called Corona

The coronavirus is shaking the world of people. Until an effective vaccine is available, the crisis will plague many people with fear of death and existential questions about the meaning of life, suffering and death. And afterwards, the future will look different, in a hopefully purified society, in which we will have to live differently, learn differently, work differently and distinguish in a different way between what is important and what is secondary. The need for a very versatile social reform policy is urgent. In view of this, the effectiveness of political decision-making and its democratic content will have to be significantly improved. At European level, too, cooperative federalism will have to be further developed, so that the West can continue to contribute to the humanization of globalization. The ethics of change will become more important than the change of ethics. The corona crisis is a test of civilization.
