Migration: winners and losers
Migration is a hot topic. Driven by demographic and economic factors, and in particular by contemporary globalization trends, more and more people are leaving their homes to live elsewhere. There are currently more than 214 million migrants worldwide and their numbers will continue to grow in the future. Migration is a complex phenomenon and encompasses a multitude of dimensions. This monograph addresses some of these dimensions, including multiculturalism and integration, brain drain, return, and circular migration. The contributions in this monograph are written by authors with different backgrounds and diverse experiences in the field of asylum and migration. This provides a fascinating variety of perspectives.
