Out and about with the GP

You find them in every city: apartment buildings with grey, anonymous facades, full of social housing. Many people live in these flats with their own dreams, desires and achievements. The grey then makes way for colour. But these flat residents often also experience illness and misfortune, and the facade often hides many tragedies. The book follows the story of several people in such an apartment block, from the perspective of a general practitioner who, albeit from a distance, shares part of his life with them. Sometimes he is struck by the loyalty that exists between the neighbours. In the book, the medical subjects of the story are explained in separate pieces, in the style of the author's previous book, Lichaamswijzer.
