Halibut on the moon

Jim, a suicidal middle-aged man, is traveling from Alaska to California. He is met there by his brother Doug, who will take care of him and is determined not to lose sight of him. Jim's illness makes him highly unpredictable, but he still tries to find meaning in his relationships with his parents and friends, his ex-wife and his children. When a session with his therapist goes off the rails, he finds himself increasingly unable to communicate with other people. Jim is driven by his thoughts, which lead him tragically to an inevitable end.
