Small revolution: or do we want barbarism?

Day in day out millions of news reports, analyses and other undoubtedly very relevant opinions: many people get a headache from this, feel overwhelmed or, worse, get the feeling that the world is too big and too invulnerable to change. To all those who are in despair, Rik Pinxten says: there is still a lot of room at the bottom!

Because the planet may be upside down, the times we live in also offer opportunities. Do we actually realize how many refreshing alternatives already exist or are being developed at the grassroots level? From patient associations to cooperatives that 'farm vertically' in old factories. They are small revolutions, yes. But in a world in which the 99% cannot count on the solidarity of the 1%, they can become very meaningful.
