For 25 years, Hendrik Vermeulen has been a well-kept secret in the Belgian art world. He draws, paints, sculpts, makes videos and does performances, always with one common thread: the landscape, as a scene of life and death. He does not idealize that landscape, but shows a critical view of its manipulation by man. This book, in which the God in the title possibly stands for 'the artist', bundles the drawings for the first time.
