The enemy

Just when Commissioner Pieter Van In thinks he can take a breather after the shocking adventure with the stem cell research in which he almost drowned, he receives a strange phone call from an old friend. Her brother has disappeared without a trace and she enlists the discreet help of Van In. She does not want an official investigation, because her brother is a secret agent and it is not allowed to draw attention to the secret service in any way. When Van In starts his private investigation, he soon discovers that there are different tendencies within the European secret service in the making and that departments not only distrust each other, but also work against each other. The agents keep a close and anxious eye on each other.
