Maribeth thinks she is superwoman. As a hardworking New York mother of four-year-old twins, she doesn't even realize she has had a heart attack. After a double bypass operation, she is released from the hospital on the condition that she recover at home. That proves impossible. Even her mother, who temporarily comes to 'help', thinks she is selfish. Desperate, Maribeth packs a suitcase and leaves, without letting her husband Jason know where she is going.
