Antigone's Choice

'He will remain without a grave above the earth, a prey for dogs and birds, until his torn carcass is blown away to dust. This is my law.'
The new king Creon is merciless. Heartlessly he forbids the citizens of Thebes to bury Antigone's brother. He places two guards by the body. Whoever does not respect Creon's order, awaits death.
'With these hands I want to bury my brother. Will you help me?'
'Antigone, what are you saying? You're breaking the law!'
Antigone is stubborn. For her, the family bond with her brother counts. Law and authority cannot stop her. She must and will bury her brother… And then fate strikes mercilessly.
