Antwerp Greenplace
When a car is shot at on a deserted country road, Walter Grigorius, after everything seems to be calm again, wants to take a look.
He happens to be in the area because he is involved in ecological horticulture as a hobby and is on his way home from his country house.
He finds an unconscious and injured woman there, who is dressed as a man.
To avoid any trouble, he uses the victim's mobile phone to alert the emergency services and takes the woman's handbag to prevent theft.
Safe and sound at home, he is visited by Mira, an unknown woman, who narrowly saves him from the clutches of two assassins.
When he returns the handbag to its owner later that evening, he comes into contact with Fernando, who seems to him to be an underworld figure.
He soon discovers that something is also wrong with Tamara, his Ukrainian girlfriend, when she has emptied their joint bank account.
Moreover, she also appears to be untraceable. When his apartment is broken into, he decides to investigate together with Mira.
Walter Grigorius immediately finds himself entangled in a web where kidnapping, extortion and murder are daily occurrences.
He feels constantly threatened and must fight to save his skin.
