On the evening of his birthday, the wealthy Alzheimer's patient Ted Grant is found dead. Everything points to his wife Betsy having murdered him. Stepson Alan anxiously awaits the trial, but is he seeking justice or is he mainly interested in the inheritance? Is Betsy perhaps innocent after all?
