"Horse Freak!" is the second part of "A Heart of Horseshoes". Anyone who loves horses must have read this series! After a difficult period, Jolien has completely found her place at the Klaverhof riding school. She spends all her free time there with her favourite horse Tecumseh and her new friends. Together they set up a horse club, in a forgotten meadow behind the riding school. When a workshop with a famous rider can be won, the club starts practising diligently. Her novels De Maansteen and De Toversleutel were a success. The series Club Duister is also by her. She was a laureate of various literary prizes, and won the 'John Flandersprijs Averbode' among others. Some of her work was translated into French. With Een hart van Hoefijzers she wants to share her passion for horses, and offer just that little bit more than the umpteenth series in this genre. Her characters (both two- and four-legged!) are feisty and well-founded, and the situations wonderfully recognizable for every rider.
