A ship of blood and amber
A monster remains a monster, even if she is on your side. Deventer, the Hanseatic period. Romeo and Juliet had it easy: their families only wanted to kill each other. Those of Jord and Nadia want to marry them off as soon as possible, but absolutely not to each other. When the bishop ruins Jord's family, there is only one thing left if they ever want to marry: become richer than the bishop himself. Now a Viking ancestor of Nadia was once buried in a dragon ship of pure amber. That is a treasure, big enough to buy all of Deventer! They get help: Nadia's great-grandmother is the most feared witch in Russia, Baba Yaga. But a monster remains a monster, even if she is on your side...
