In the US, 'The Fault In Our Stars' sold more than 450,000 copies before it was published. The book was number one on the NY Times bestseller list for more than a year. The novel is now available worldwide in more than thirty languages. In the Netherlands, 'A Fault in Our Stars' was awarded the jury and audience prizes of the Dioraphte Youth Literature Prize, a unique achievement. In 2014, the American coming-of-age film adaptation of the book conquered cinemas worldwide. The film became a real box office hit and won numerous prizes.
