Guide to gardens in Belgium

More than 350 gardens to visit in a clear guide
After the success of the widely used Guide to Gardens in Belgium from 1995, the demand for a revised edition grew. For the occasion, it was given a brand new look and brought onto the market in a cheaper paperback edition.
Interest in show gardens is still on the rise. Our national green heritage has a lot to offer here. Belgium is indeed dotted with the most beautiful private gardens, some of which unfortunately can rarely or never be visited. This very practical guide provides an overview per province of all the gardens worth seeing that are open to the public at least once a year on request. Each garden is given an assessment and a short review, in addition to the necessary practical information such as address, route, opening days and hours, the number of people with whom the garden can be visited, and so on.
More than 350 magnificent gardens and arboreta are presented. The most beautiful parks of the country are also included in this guide.
The most important gardens are also presented using clear maps by Christian Duchâteau. The book also contains dozens of beautiful colour photographs by Vincent Everarts de Velp, Philippe de Spoelberch, Arnaud Descat and others.
