The Face of Death

Forensic artist Eve Duncan has a rare talent. Using a skull, she is able to sculpt a face and thus determine the identity of the deceased. This unique profession is also Eve's way of processing her own nightmare - her daughter Bonnie was murdered and never found again. When she is commissioned to reconstruct a face by computer giant John Logan, she soon realizes that danger is looming. His laboratory is extremely secure; cameras keep a constant eye on her, telephone lines have been tapped. And then John Logan himself: he is alternately unscrupulous, charming and desperate. But there is no way back: through the reconstruction of the skull, Eve looks death straight in the face.
