The Right of the Richest: Are Anti-Globalists Right?

Globalization. Many people think of it as a wild, intangible process. Yet politics is less powerless than is usually claimed. International institutions such as the World Trade Organization, the International Monetary Fund, the International Labor Organization and the United Nations are where international (and therefore also national) policy is developed in the areas of security, finance, trade, the environment, development cooperation and social rights. This is where the foundation is laid for the governance of the world. This affects us all.
