Rafe is always there. At the university where Clarissa works. In Clarissa’s favorite store. At the train station. Across the street from where Clarissa lives. He floods Clarissa with messages. He showers Clarissa with gifts. And since that one night, his obsession with Clarissa has been stronger than ever. When Clarissa is called to jury duty, she hopes to escape Rafe for a while. But even during the trial, he won’t let her go. The victim’s story is eerily similar to hers. Clarissa realizes that she can only unmask Rafe if she has hard evidence against him. She starts recording everything he does and collecting everything she can use against him. However, the macabre fairy tale Rafe has created for them is rapidly approaching its end, and the outcome of that story goes beyond Clarissa’s deepest fears.
