In the twenty-first adventure of Pieter Van In, Hannelore Martens and Guido Versavel, the charming seaside resort of Blankenberge once again plays a beautiful role. The innocent tourist entertainment is shocked by a drug gang that spares nothing and no one. Duma, a Russian girl, is found murdered in a nature reserve in the dunes. Duma is part of a group of jugglers who perform in Het Witte Paard, a venue where a singing and dancing spectacle is presented during the summer months. A while later, her dealer is also stabbed. Van In and Versavel try to round up the gang, but in the meantime they make a terrible discovery. They learn that a large shipment of chemical drugs is on its way, in which a dose of deadly poison has coincidentally ended up. The contaminated shipment is being transported overseas. They just don't know when and on which ship.
