Sofie - lady and chef

She is only 34, very driven and was elected Lady Chef of the Year 2009 at the beginning of this year: Sofie Dumont, chef of restaurant Les Eleveurs in Halle. After her studies she worked at the renowned Brussels patisserie Wittamer. Two years ago she took over her father-in-law's restaurant together with Andy De Brouwer, her partner and a renowned sommelier. Sofie has given the traditional cuisine of Les Eleveurs a very personal, contemporary touch. Her culinary talent is highly regarded by the press and her colleagues.
