Step into the light: a bundle of loving energy

In a school diary from my primary school days I wrote that I wanted to become a nurse. Taking care of people and helping them to become healthy again appealed to me as a child. I did not become a nurse, but listening to people and trying to help them has always been a common thread in my life. This collection of poems and thoughts, which I published on various blogs in 2015 and 2016, is my way of reaching out a helping and perhaps also a healing hand to anyone who is looking for love, light, insight, connection or faith. I wish everyone who reads it loving energy and the courage to step from the shadows into the light. Yvonne Alefs (1972) is a writer in heart and soul. In 2015 she started writing philosophical texts on her blog yvonnealefs.nl. In the same year she started her second blog hartschreven.nl on which she and eleven others, each from a different faith or belief, regularly write about a chosen subject in turn. In addition, she also likes to make time to blog for Yogadreams, the yoga school where she takes weekly lessons.
