Tales 1001 Nights: part 13 and 14

In September 1993, a start was made on the first Dutch translation, directly from Arabic, unedited and based on the oldest known texts, of one of the most famous books in world literature. This now widely acclaimed translation, which went through five editions in four months after its publication, took the Netherlands and Flanders by storm and has a loyal readership. With the regularity of a Swiss clockwork, two new parts appeared each autumn: together in a beautiful binding or two parts separately in paperback. In the autumn of 1999, part 13/14 appeared, making this Dutch edition complete: undamaged, unedited, unedited and beautifully illustrated and cared for.
