The tragic truth of the Grenier family... In Roussillon, the ochre village of Provence, a gruesome murder of a young tourist occurs. Everything seems to point to the attack of a predator. Tim and his family, a little worried, leave for a holiday in the region at that moment. There, Tim meets a family who, in the eyes of the villagers, are the cause of all the misery. The family, some of whose members suffer from an excessive hair growth disease, is subjected to all kinds of tests by a Dutch professor and his daughter. Tim finds this all a bit strange and starts investigating. Together with his niece Rhian, they discover the tragic truth of the Grenier family... Ronald Verheyen (1951) worked for forty years in education as a Dutch-English teacher. From a young age, he has been interested in zoology and paleontology. Other hobbies include music, especially rock, classical, film music and jazz. He has a passion for everything British. The first published story, Garlic with Blood, was in the collection Shuddering. This was followed by The Ghost and the Darkness, Sword Nose, The Eye of the Dragon, The Cursed Village, Mastodont, Bitten, Jaws and Claws and The Fatal Photo. In between, a thriller for adults was also published: Heavenly Death. In primary school, he had a teacher who read exciting stories during the last hour of the week. With his savings, he bought Bob Morane, Biggles and Bob Evers books. Writing a book that was published and then being able to sign it at the Book Fair was a dream come true.
