Julia "Jules" Farentino has been plagued by nightmares since her father was stabbed to death during a robbery in their home. Her half-sister Shaylee has her own problems: she is an addict and steals to get her drugs. Shay is sent by her mother to the Blue Rock Academy, a boarding school for deranged youth. Rumor has it that a student has been killed. To protect Shay, Jules applies for a teaching job at the Academy. Shortly before her arrival, a student is found to have hanged herself and another student is on the brink of death. A hysterical Shay believes it was murder. Then another girl is found dead.
