Still alive and kicking!

Busy, busy, busy.....

Every day I have dozens sometimes hundreds of books listed in my online store. I haven't counted them yet but I estimate that I now have more than 2,000 books in the online store. So, another good 4,000 books to go and all the books will be listed in the online store.

The sale:

The sale of my books is going very well on the marketplaces like bol.com , booksinbelgium and boekwinkeltjes . Since today I have opened a shop on amazon.nl, but for the moment you can only list new books there, so it will be within a few weeks that a book will be there. After all, all my new books are for sale in my shop on bol.com.

Sales in my own webshop, The King of Books , are not going as I expected. Although the prices are the same as in my online stores on the various marketplaces. The "introductory discount" of 5% also does not seem to achieve its goal. It is simple: you register and you receive a personalized code with which you get a discount of 5% on your first purchase of at least €10. Apparently, which I fully understand, people have more confidence in a platform like bol.com than in my online store. But I think that this will grow step by step, especially when people read that I have a reliability of 9.4 out of 10 at bol.com and at booksinbelgium and boekwrikeltjes that is even 100%!

What makes me hopeful and satisfied is that there has already been a lot of buying in my online store at " opruimhoekje " where you can buy a book for €1! Here you can currently find 484 books in various subjects. From novels, thrillers, children's books and cookbooks to sports books, war books, hobby and much more.
