To get rid of the ghosts from her past, Jolien Daems moves to Antwerp. Jolien has gone through a nasty divorce. She tries to find her way
to get her life back on track and regain her self-confidence. She moves into an attractive apartment with beautiful murals.
Shortly after the move, it turns out that Zoë Kok, the former resident of the new flat, was found dead in the city park. The police are still looking for
the perpetrator. The promising new beginning is suddenly overshadowed by mysterious events. In between building a new life, Jolien tries to help uncover the truth.
Luckily, there is Steve Dex, who lives in the flat above her. Steve is chief inspector of the Antwerp police and is charged with the investigation into the murder of Zoë Kok. Despite Jolien's reluctance to re-commit, Steve immediately triggers something in her. Steve and Jolien fall in love.
Who killed Zoe? And who is trying to convince Steve that Jolien should continue seeing her Italian ex-husband, in the hope of driving a wedge?
