Madly in love

In this new collection of stories by Geertrui Daem, all the characters are portrayed with equal compassion and ruthlessness. For example, there is Els who falls in love with the boy next door, fat Ronny. There is Erna who tries to love Bert, even though he gets into trouble because he is interned. And there is also Lydie, for example, who gets to know Angelina's heartbreak in Colmar. The love is strong, but at the same time it is carried by a great deal of absurdity.
