The sky above Africa

July 4, 1998, midnight: Cliff Cameron is found bleeding profusely in the bedroom of his wife Kerstin, who lives apart from him. High debts, alcohol and the bad marriage lead to a tragic suicide that night.
Almost two years later, Kerstin Cameron is arrested. Although the police are convinced that Cliff killed himself, his parents do not want to accept that conclusion. They charge Kerstin with murder.
Kerstin has been held in terrible conditions in a women's prison in the middle of Tanzania for over a year. Separated from her four small children, she faces a terrible fate: the death penalty.
