In the beginning ... created woman: modern man formed by man or was it a woman

Perhaps the title of this book may seem blasphemous if we state that a woman or 'the feminine' stood at the origin of all life on earth. Is that an unhealthy proposition from a confused mind, or is there truth behind that sphinx-like statement? In any case, official history teaches us otherwise. Abbot Odo of Cluny (ca. 878 - 942) warned: "Embracing a woman is like embracing a sack of shit" and church father Albertus Magnus of Cologne (ca. 1200-1280) said: "One should beware of a woman as one would a poisonous snake." That is how low women had sunk in the male esteem in the Middle Ages. In the Christianity of that time, THE woman was considered the cause of all people being burdened with an 'original sin': had she not bitten into an apple, while it was forbidden to her by (a male) God? The great ancient cultures such as the Greeks and Romans also had very little regard for women. Worse, they were relegated to the fringes of society, banished to the four walls of the home. Society was exclusively a male affair. But it wasn't like that in the beginning . . . If we go back deep into time, we see women and goddesses with power and influence appear here and there. With this book, the author brings an apology for the rehabilitation of the feminine, suppressed for centuries by the masculine!
