Trail of women in office: a historical study of the opening up of office to women in the SOW churches

Women have been and are active in the church in various ways throughout the centuries. But the 'woman in office' has not been self-evident for a long time. In three Dutch churches (also two small churches) women have now been admitted to office. New points of view on the issue of women in office seem hardly possible anymore.
The question with which this book begins is: How is it possible that a centuries-old tradition of 'women in office' has been examined at the level of the General Synod in some Dutch churches?
