Furta
Joren and Alicia are on holiday at the Belgian coast. They meet Anna and Piedro, two rich kids who claim to live in a castle not far from the beach. The introduction ends with gaming in the hotel where Joren and Alicia are staying. The next morning it turns out that money and jewelry have been stolen from the hotel room. Suspicion falls on Anna and Piedro. Accompanied by their dog, Jackson, Joren and Alicia go looking for them. When they arrive at the castle after all kinds of scary adventures, it turns out to be a dilapidated, creepy building. The castle seems abandoned or is that just an illusion? Aren't there ghosts and spirits living in every castle? Why is someone trying to scare the living daylights out of them? Exciting, chilling adventures await in gruesome tower rooms and secret passages. Dirty animals, disappearances, gunshots, gruesome discoveries, they have to endure it all to fathom the secret of the castle. The final answer is shocking and the truth heartbreaking. It will change their young lives forever! Erik Persoons is the spiritual father of 'the writing experiment', a unique project in which more than 100 young people work together to write an exciting youth novel. By sending a short assignment into the world, he tries to convince young people to write a text and deliver it to him before a certain deadline. The best ideas and (parts of) texts are taken from all the entries. Erik puzzles these writings together, writes connecting texts and thus creates a story that could only have come about through the fantasy, the imagination, the passion for writing of many young people and their collaboration. This has already resulted in three beautiful, exciting youth novels 'Attractopia', 'Refugia' and 'Pericula'. FURTA is the fourth, fantastic result of this project.
