Exactly 5 years ago, the Mother of All Wars erupted in the Gulf with all its fury. Under the leadership of the American Commander-in-Chief Schwarzkopf, the allied forces quickly made short work of Saddam Hussein's troops. To this day, the fire is still smoldering because nothing has been resolved in this matter. Iraq, which has the second largest oil reserves in the world, must survive by the grace of Saudi Arabia, Syria and Turkey through whose territory its main pipelines run to the distant terminals. The Arabs, due to the low oil prices and the low dollar, are getting less and less of the oil pie, while the rich industrial countries and oil companies are earning more and more from the oil.
