Death cap

A woman suspected of blackmail is beaten up in front of the police and dies from her injuries. The perpetrator manages to escape, but everything points to him being a debt collector - hired by an important and socially respected person. Meanwhile, a well-known criminal repeatedly tries to get in touch with the police, albeit for obscure reasons.
Once again a true Indriðason with the usual ingredients: subcutaneous tension, strong atmosphere and subtle humor. A book about the dark motives of man: his greed, and where it can lead.
