The Labyrinth

Kerstin Kvirst is 24 when she leaves Sweden to work in England. Through her boyfriend, she ends up at Lydstep Old Hall, an old, neglected country house in Essex. There she takes care of John, a forty-year-old schizophrenic man.
When Kerstin arrives, she realizes that she has landed in an unusual family. John's relatives do not begrudge each other the light in their eyes. The only thing that keeps them together is John's money. When one of his sisters starts a relationship with a painter from the village, it is the start of a series of horrific events and fate slowly but surely seems inevitable...
