An angel in Rome
Eva Rosselli and Angelo Bianco grow up as brother and sister, but it is not the blood tie that connects them...
Italy, 1933. When Angelo Bianco is sent to Italy at the age of nine, he is a gift from heaven for Eva Rosselli. Finally, the little brother she has been hoping for! As they grow up together, a close bond develops between the two, which is severely tested when Angelo decides to follow his calling to the priesthood.
Ten years later, Angelo has been ordained as a priest, and Eva is on the run from the Gestapo. In an act of extreme desperation, she knocks on Angelo's door, who hides Eva in a convent. There she discovers that she is just one of the many Jews being hidden by the Catholic Church.
As the world wages war and waits for redemption, Eva and Angelo face trial after trial, choice after heartbreaking choice - until there is no turning back.
