After the war, he worked for the provincial government of Limburg. He lived in Congo as a regional official. Until 1983, he was a traveling secretary for the National Confederation of Construction Companies and for ten years he was director of the Union Chamber of Construction Companies Rupelgewest. He published "Bij Bertha aan brug 11" (At Bertha's bridge 11) independently. He wrote numerous italics, short stories and a few poems. Co-founder in 1965 and member of the Literary Circle of Schoten.
