Vespasian 1 - Tribune of Rome
The year 9 AD: Titus Flavius Vespasianus is born under an unlucky star and grows up in the shadow of his older brother Sabinus. At the age of sixteen, Verspasianus, future emperor of Rome, leaves his family farm and sets out for the capital of the Roman Empire with the aim of finding a mentor and joining the army.
As the situation in Rome deteriorates, Vespasian flees the city and accepts a post as tribune of an unpopular legion on the Balkan border. Inexperienced as he is, he must lead his men in a bloody battle against hostile mountain tribes. Things become even more dangerous when deserters from the Praetorians and the emperor's spies are out to assassinate him. Vespasian must somehow hold out until he has unmasked the traitors behind the planned uprising...
