A diary of a visit to Congo to document a water project.

The city of Kasongo-Lunda is located in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Low wages, corruption, lack of clean water, one-sided food, bad roads, diseases and many other problems contribute to a very difficult life for the inhabitants of this region. Water voor Mabele VZW is committed to clean drinking water in and around this city. This in collaboration with other humanitarian organizations and local forces. After a difficult start, WvM has succeeded in pumping clean water from the ground by means of drilling. The organization does not want to stop here and wants to bring water even closer to the people. So that water can once again become a basic right here.
