The Magritte Case

November 2017. The life of Alex Berger, a Brussels detective, has been on hold since his wife Camille died in the terrorist attacks in Paris almost two years ago. She was shot on the terrace of Le Carillon, where she was having an aperitif with friends. Since that day, Berger has been an emotional wreck. A man without hope, who drinks too much and cares about little or nothing. His dreams are filled with horrible nightmares in which his wife repeatedly comes to him, begging him why he didn't save her.

At the same time, a bizarre trail of murders is being drawn through Brussels and Paris. Each time, the detectives find the same note on the victim: 'Ceci n'est pas un suicide'...
