Cologne, in the year 1260. Thanks to the bones of the three holy kings that are buried there, Cologne has become one of the largest places of pilgrimage in Christianity. A place of pilgrimage where construction is still in full swing on what will become one of the most famous cathedrals in the world: the Dom. The pious activity attracts not only believers, but also vagrants, criminals and murderers. Among them the lovable vagabond Jacob. From the moment that Jacob witnesses the murder of the master builder of the Dom, he has to fear for his life. And he is not alone, because everyone he speaks to dies an unnatural death…
