The rites of water

Inspector and profiler Unai López de Ayala – better known as Kraken – receives the terrible news that his ex-girlfriend, Ana Belén Liaño, has been found murdered. She was pregnant and killed in a 2,600-year-old ritual way.
Kraken must stop a killer who is imitating the Rites of Water at historic sites in the Basque Country and Cantabria – and whose victims all turn out to be pregnant.
Commissioner Alba Díaz de Salvatierra is pregnant, but her silence puts her in danger. If Kraken is the father, as is claimed, Alba will soon be on the list of women threatened by the Rites of Water…
