During the filming of a popular soap opera, the body of creative director Tom Dewulf is found. The man was stabbed to death.
When investigating judge Alex Balcaen enters the idiosyncratic world of actors and actresses, he encounters a wall of suspicion. When more victims are found and the ex-wife of his friend, forensic psychiatrist Peter Six, is placed on the suspect list, the soap opera quickly degenerates into a chilling crime series.
