Psychiatrist Nathalie Svensson supports the Stockholm police in particularly serious crimes. When her lover, the famous actor Rickard Ekengård, is shot dead in the street one night, she can only watch helplessly as he bleeds to death in her arms. Nathalie immediately finds herself back in the nightmare that has gripped her for years; ten years ago, her then boyfriend was murdered. She decides to investigate on her own, but someone is upset: Nathalie receives threatening letters and thinks she is being followed. Is there a connection between the two murders? Or was she the real target?
