The sound of silence

Nick is bullied at school. She may look a bit like a boy, but apart from that she is an average seventeen-year-old girl. Yet she is 'the lucky one'. In a theatre company, Nick plays the character Alleentje: the story of someone who doesn't belong anywhere, in a role she recognizes herself in. Then she meets Simon. He is friends with bullies Jorg and Dave and the bullying seems to stop. They are even invited to a party of Jorg's. Nick has doubts, but Simon is able to persuade her. At the party an argument breaks out, after which Simon goes for a walk with Jorg and Dave. When the former bullies stumble back in a few hours later, all trace of Simon is gone.
